Diversified Career Services, in collaboration with TalentGuard, utilizes a validated career transition methodology to guide and support job seekers in various stages of career transition. During the exploration and alignment phase, DCS Career Strategists partner with motivated job seekers to:
- Assess personal strengths, interests, and values to discover and celebrate "career assets;"
- Surface and acknowledge any existing limiting beliefs;
- Investigate external factors and trends influencing career planning and job search;
- Clarify career focus and ideal work environment to leverage knowledge, skills, and abilities; and
- Embrace past career choices prior to developing SMART goals that support a strengths-based career.
